Lancaster University Sports Centre
Located just off the A6 on the main drive up to the campus and next to the rugby pitches, the facilities is open to students, staff and the general public.
Facilities include a 25 metre Swimming Pool with 8 lanes - including a 'floating floor' which can vary the depth of the pool, Climbing Wall & Bouldering Cave which has been specially designed with input from renowned mountaineer and Chancellor Sir Chris Bonington, Health & Fitness Suites, Sauna & Steam Rooms, Sports Hall with 8 badminton Courts, 4 Squash Courts and outdoor changing facilities for field games. There is also a state of the art, 100 station gym.

How to find us
Salt Ayre Sports Centre is conveniently situated half way between Lancaster and Morecambe and is easily accessible by car, bicycle and public transport.
Public transport - The number 6A bus from Lancaster and Morecambe stops at the ASDA supermarket. We're a 2 minute walk from the bus stop.
By car - Follow the signs to Salt Ayre Sports Centre from the A683. Parking is free on site.
Bicycle - We're on the Greenway cycle path between Lancaster and Morecambe and there's plenty of safe cycle racks outside our main entrance.

Yoga With Sue

Sue Garner started to practise yoga in India in 1991. She qualified as a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga in 1999 and has since trained with respected teachers in various styles (including Iyengar, Astanga, Scaravelli and Yin).
She is currently training with an osteopath and in tantra.
Over the past 10 years she has taught mainstream classes, playful sessions for children, gentle movement for old people and relaxation techniques for those working with mental illness or overcoming addiction as well as one-to-one sessions addressing particular issues.
She aims to make yoga accessible to all, tailoring the practices to individual needs, recognising and working with areas of holding and encouraging a deepening awareness of body and mind.
