LGBT OUT IN THE BAY
"LGBT Out in the Bay" is a group with local premises who cater specifically to the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender people. We seek to offer a safe environment in which people can discuss issues that they may feel more comfortable discussing with people from within the community. It is our aim to be a fun group, to offer a chance to socialise to anyone and especially those adults who may feel alone or a vulnerable because of their sexuality. We organise regular weekly and monthly social events in Lancaster and Morecambe and are always open to new ideas. LGBT YOUTH NORTH WEST
Regional organisation that seeks to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans young people in the North West of England. We offer:
Services for Young People
The Regional Network – a professionals' network for youth workers running LGBT youth services across the whole of the North West.
Training and Consultancy – we offer a wide range of LGBT Awareness training opportunities from workshops for young people through to bespoke training for professionals working in the youth sector.
LANCASTER & S. LAKES LESBIANS
The group (previously 'Lunettes') started in 2005 and is a social group for lesbian and bi women. We meet regularly in the Kendal and Lancaster areas; new people are always welcome!
OUTING THE PAST - LGBT HISTORY MONTH
Every February, Lancashire Archives, Libraries and Museums contribute to events and projects to celebrate the history, culture, and experience of lesbian, gay, bisexual , and transgender people of Lancashire. You’ll be able to find out about all that’s going on and what has been on.
We’ll welcome your comments and, most importantly, your contributions. If things that you read strike a chord and bring back a memory, please let us know. The whole point of “Outing the Past” is to tell our Lancashire story in a way we never have before!
PYRO - Proud YOUTH r Out
A personal and social group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people aged 12-19 years old in Lancaster, Morecambe and the surrounding rural areas.
The group is supported by the Young People's Service (YPS) which is funded by Lancs County Council.
We meet on Tuesdays at a safe location in Lancaster.
We provide a friendly atmosphere and organise optional trips and sessions ranging from movie night to writing workshops, from LGBTQ role models to sex and relationships! We also get involved in local and national projects.
So, if you are or think you are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or maybe questioning your sexuality or gender, you're invited to get in contact with us.

QUEER BOOTS CLUB NIGHT
Long-running monthly "DIY dance night for LGBTQ folk and friends, gender deviants and hetero-misfits. Organised by a collective of LGBTQ folk. All DJs are LGBTQ. Music depends on the DJs on the night! Although it's always music that we can dance to. Expect queer visuals, dressing up, anonymous telegrams of affection...and lots and lots of frivolityyy..!"
