I am a UK artist and have lived in the Lancaster areas for the past
fifteen years. I work mainly in oils and have a lifelong fascination
with still life. I am interested in shadow and light, particularly in
abandoned religious buildings. Many of my paintings have been inspired
by such buildings on various travels.

A wildlife and environment artist/artivist based in Milnthorpe. Original
artworks celebrate the diversity of life. Founder of the popular
programme of wildlife art workshops at RSPB's Leighton Moss Reserve.
Most of my work is abstract, though I do create a small amount that is figurative. Media varies from traditional to digital and often encompasses techniques from both areas within a single piece. Influences derive from landscape, maths and sciences.
Work is usually offered for sale as prints because the completed piece often exists only in a digital format. To ensure the best possible longevity I reproduce these using high quality inks and papers designed for archival purposes.

Essa
Web: www.moodsoncanvas.co.uk Aziza was born in Lancaster. "Painting is, and
has for a long time, been my creative and emotional outlet," she
says. Psychology influences all her work along with the people in
her life, her environment and her feelings. "In my work I can
see my past, I can feel some of my future". Her paintings also
convey much of her daily experiences and where she is mentally and
spiritually at the time of creating the work -- "the joys and
frustration of life, and in truth, even vices of life".

College 1972-75. It was here I first found a love of surrealism, especially

things in ways that aren't ordinarily accessible to people. Elaine is incommunicado.

Donald
Taylor
Web: www.donaldtaylor.org.uk
'My first love is landscape painting" says Donald. "As a boy my habit
was to get up at daybreak on Saturdays and walk up onto the moors above the
town, to favourite haunts like Deeply Vale and Knowl Hill, and I would explore
every fold and track. It was my ambition to be as good at conveying my feelings
of excitement and mystery about the landscape I loved, through painting, with
the same intensity that Turner's large landscape painting, 'Gathering Bait,
Calais Sands' in Bury Art Gallery communicated to me..."
